RABBIT'S HOUSE / NEXT STEP

I just finished printing image #2 for the "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland" stage production. Started cutting the image at 3 this afternoon, took a little break for dinner and then got back to cutting the remainder of the image. Finished cutting by 9:30, prepped the paper, got the press ready and printed a small edition. I'll post the scanned final image after it dries properly. Until then, here's a scan of the cut lino and the inked lino before printing.

RABBIT'S HOUSE / NEXT STEP

I'm running a little slowly here, the results of a pinched nerve in my neck/back. Even the simplest of actions is a bit tedious when this happens, and since most of the process working on one of these pieces is about being hunched over my desk, it's not something I should be doing right now. But I have managed to get a good sketch down on to the linoleum making it just about ready to be cut. A lot of little details in this one, and I'm looking forward to cutting it out but want to make sure I'm focused properly on the piece before I start. Should have something for you to look at by the end of the week.

ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND / RABBIT'S HOUSE

This is a pencil sketch for the next image I'll be creating a print of, The Rabbit's House. The next step is to transfer the image to linoleum, clean it up, and make adjustments and then the cutting process begins.

CHESHIRE CAT - PRINT/FINAL

This is the final version of my Cheshire Cat print before it gets handed off to Scott Rink and becomes turned into the stage version. (His posture is such that it looks like he's laying on a branch).

CHESHIRE CAT - PROGRESS/PROCESS

I finally started work on my Cheshire Cat print for the stage production of "Alice In Wonderland" that my friend Scott Rink is putting together to be presented in Baltimore later this year. Below are a few pics from this afternoon. And yes, I do some of my best work barefooted.

I'll post a scan of the finished print as soon as it's dry.

FINAL LINO-CUT PRINT

"Screecher" the latest creature in the Berube-Bugs Mailart series has been printed up and sent out to a number of participants already. If you'd like to see what the printing process entails, head over to my Berube-Bugs Blog to get a step by step visual of the experience as well as what the postcards look like when they're sent out.
